The Canadian Motorcycle Association is pleased to announce the appointment of Jon Hendriks of Montreal as team manager for the 2016 FIM World Trials Championship for national teams. The event will take place in Isola, France on September
Jon’s history in international competitions is varied and includes sailing regattas, 12 meters and keelboats.
He became active in trials ( bicycle) competitions in 1994 and later as manager of Canada’s first professional bicycle trials team. He was nominated as Manager of the Canadian Cycle Team and held that position over three UCI world championships from 2008-2010.
In 2013 Jon competed in his last international competition at Whistler Crankworx, winning a gold medal in the master class. Since his retirement, he has been active coaching aspiring riders and doing demonstrations and shows, including performing on his trials bike in professional circus troupe Cirque Eloize.
He became involved with the Association de Trialistes Au Quebec (ATAQ) where he competes in motorcycle and bicycle events and has organized a trials competition at Morin Heights every year since 2010.

News wrap up for those that stay away from social media and Facebook like the plague!
05-01-2016: Good luck to sole Canadian rider – Brian Wojnarowski riding his Sherco #280 in this years Scottish Six Days of Sunshine.
05-03-2016: 84 pts today for another slippery ride now sitting in 160th, and the picture from Trials Central says those new sections aren’t for the faint of heart!
05-04-2016: Still raining in places (Scotland) – still smiling. The forecast is sunny for the w/e. Keep it up Brian!
